Multiply Rooted Branching Greedoids – An Introduction
Abstract for the Combinatorics Seminar 2010 March 9
I will introduce multiply rooted branching greedoids and show how they generalize both branching greedoids and graphic matroids. I will discuss some current areas of research – in particular relating to the characteristic polynomial and to a forbidden minors characterization.
