Project
Task
The students are supposed to to an individual project, which consists of a presentation and a report.
The topic of the presentation is open but should be within the area of probability theory.
The final report should be typed out in LaTeX and serves as a brief supporting document (notes) for the presentation.
Grading policies
The total points of the project is 100 points, which can be divided into three parts:
- Project Proposal (20 pts).
- Presentation (40 pts)
- Final report (40 pts)
Schedule
- Project proposal: due by October 30
- Preliminary report: due by November 20
- Project presentations: December 1 - December 8
- Final report: due by December 8
