The Statistical Consulting Services (SCS) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics is located in Whitney Hall (WH). The mission of the SCS is three-fold: to provide collaborative research assistance to faculty, research staff, and graduate students in all departments of Binghamton University; to promote the growth of research collaborations between faculty from SCS and other units of the university; and to stimulate approaching research in more quantifiable ways.

The SCS is directed by Dr. Mei-Hsiu Chen and offers the following services:

• Statistical consultations on study designs, analysis methods, and results interpretations.
• Collaborations on data analysis, results dissemination, and publications.
• Proposal writings of the statistical components.
