Double Major and Minor Options

A math degree pairs well with many other fields. Some popular combinations include:

Actuarial Science + Economics: Several Economics degrees heavily overlap with the Actuarial Science track.
Mathematics + Computer Science: A math major with a CS minor (or vice versa).

For minors outside our department (e.g., Computer Science), consult that department for their specific requirements.

Double Degree Program

Students can also pursue degrees from two different schools at the university—for example, a BS in Business Administration (School of Management) alongside a BA in Mathematics, or a degree in Computer Science (Watson School) with a degree in Mathematics.
