==== Task ====

The students are supposed to to an individual project, which consists of a presentation and a report. 

The topic of the presentation is open but should be within the area of probability theory. 

The final report should be typed out in LaTeX and serves as a brief supporting document (notes) for the presentation. 



==== Grading policies ==== 

The total points of the project is 100 points, which can be divided into three parts:

  - Project Proposal (20 pts).
  - Presentation (40 pts)
  - Final report (40 pts)

==== Schedule ====

  * Project proposal: due by October 30
  * Preliminary report: due by November 20
  * Project presentations: December 1 - December 8
  * Final report: due by December 8
