====== Site Migration — Old ↔ New URL Map ======

//Reference for the ''*.math.binghamton.edu'' → ''mathmig'' migration. Last updated 2026-08-11 — web vhosts are now cut over.//

The department's public addresses (''*.math.binghamton.edu'') **do not change** when a service
migrates — the campus proxy keeps the name and now serves it from the new server (''mathmig'').
The ''*.mathmig.binghamton.edu'' addresses are the **same content reached directly** (handy for
testing/admin). Wiki pages keep working under every old link shape; dynamic reports and personal
pages keep the exact same paths.

Each table shows: **①** the old (legacy) URL, **②** the production URL people type (now served
from mathmig), and **③** the direct ''mathmig'' URL.

===== 1. Wiki (DokuWiki) =====

Canonical page URL: ''/doku.php?id=<page>'' (or the short ''/<page>'' form). **All** legacy link
shapes now redirect to the correct page: ''/p/<page>'', ''/wiki/<page>'', ''/dokuwiki/<page>'',
and ''/doku.php/<page>''.

===== Reaching the legacy system =====

The vhosts above are now served from ''mathmig''. The **old** server stays intact and reachable
(admins / spot-checks) until it is formally decommissioned:

  * **Browse the old site** — use ''http://matrix-archive.math.binghamton.edu/'' (points straight at the legacy box 128.226.2.18). **Internal/admin VPN only, and http:// — not https** (the legacy box's TLS certificate has expired). All three legacy names live on that one box.
  * **File / admin access** — SSH via the jump host ''ssh1.math.binghamton.edu'' (128.226.2.124) → ''matrix.math.binghamton.edu'' (128.226.2.18).
  * **Roll a name back** (emergency) — repointing a firefly backend to legacy is instant and reversible; ask Steven.
