Abstract

R has emerged as the de facto language for statistical model development and prototyping. In this talk, I will touch on a variety of ways for efficient and reproducible statistical computing using R. The objective is for R programmers and end users to incorporate productive coding habits and guidelines for a more efficient workflow. We will discuss code repositories, version control, literate programming, C++ integration in R code, and generally best practices for statistical computing in R. We will finish with a short demonstration.
